'Discover Addleshaw Goddard’ is a four-part series looking at our application process as well as inclusion at the firm. 

In this first event we will explore our updated application process, what’s involved and share hints and tips to help you succeed.

The remaining three events will focus on inclusion at Addleshaw Goddard, specifically social mobility, neurodiversity and ethnicity.

Inclusion is at the top of our agenda at Addleshaw Goddard, we aim to break down any barriers faced by individuals when entering the legal profession.

Discover Addleshaw Goddard (our four part series) - Social Mobility in Law

In the second event in our ‘Discover Addleshaw Goddard’ series we will be focussing on social mobility in law. You will hear from individuals at different stages of their career alongside the Early Careers Team.

Inclusion is at the top of our agenda at Addleshaw Goddard, we aim to break down any barriers faced by individuals when entering the legal profession.

The remaining two events will further focus on inclusion at Addleshaw Goddard, specifically neurodiversity and ethnicity.

In the third event in our ‘Discover Addleshaw Goddard’ series we will be focussing on neurodiversity in law. You will hear from individuals at different stages of their career alongside the Early Careers Team.

Inclusion is at the top of our agenda at Addleshaw Goddard, we aim to break down any barriers faced by individuals when entering the legal profession.

The final event of the series will further focus on inclusion at Addleshaw Goddard, specifically ethnicity.

Ethnicity.Talent.Law Leeds

The aim of Ethnicity.Talent.Law is to bring together students from ethnically diverse backgrounds with people from Addleshaw Goddard LLP as part of a growing effort to increase ethnic diversity within the legal sector.

Key figures from Addleshaw Goddard LLP will share their stories, experiences and the challenges that they have faced during their careers and provide a platform for students to gain advice on the recruitment processes and much more.

This 3 part event will consist of experiences and journeys into the legal profession and offering advice to participants on the following:

Application process insights: A session centred on what students should or could be doing to help them succeed in the application process, whilst looking at how they can highlight their differences in a positive way.

Panel discussion – How to leverage your difference: A panel discussion with a group of practising solicitors from a range of different backgrounds and levels of qualification from Addleshaw Goddard LLP, sharing their thoughts as to how they can “leverage their difference” in their careers.

Networking: The opportunity to network with trainees and fee earners from the Leeds office in an informal setting.
